Upcoming Winter Workday – Saturday, January 26th, 10am – 2pm
Volunteers will be painting (no experience required), cleaning furniture in the children’s area, and moving stored items. Volunteers will be working during the normal Saturday operating hours so please join us for an hour or four!
RFID tagging of all DVDs and CDs
Now that all of the library’s books have been tagged with Radio Frequency ID tags, volunteers are needed to tag all of our DVD and CD discs.
Disc cleaner/polisher machine operator
Scratched discs can now be cleaned and polished with our Eco-Junior machine. We need volunteers to learn how to complete this process so that patrons can check out discs in good condition. Machine is easy to operate!
High school students coach elementary and middle school students every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday that school is in session from 3:30 – 5:00pm with their homework.
Miscellaneous short-term opportunities
The library always has varied short term opportunities available for those people who want or need volunteer hours.
Please contact Jeri Mead, Volunteer Coordinator at 805-525-3615 extension 106 or at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information or to volunteer.
