Library Board Trustee Vacancy

November 23, 2020

Because a member of the Board of Trustees of the Blanchard Community Library ran for a full four-year term in the November election, that seat is now vacant. Accordingly, the remaining board members are seeking applicants that may be interested in being appointed to fill the remainder of the term for that seat. The new appointee’s term will expire the last Friday of November 2022. Library trustees are responsible for setting the goals and direction of the library and the oversight of the library director. Anyone who is interested in the library and who is a registered voter that lives in the library district is encouraged to apply. For more information about being a trustee and how to apply, contact Ned Branch, District Director, at 805-525-3615 x301 or ned.branch@blanchardlibrary.org. The board will interview qualified candidates during its December board meeting.
