After The Fire – The Forest Recovery Project

What really happens in nature after a fire? How does the environment respond? What should people do in the wake of a major fire to help the land? To help themselves? What unique challenges do California’s forests and foresters face? Has fire behavior changed?

We’ll examine these issues in a richly visual presentation by Corina Roberts, founder of the non profit group Redbird and the photographer who set out to document the recovery of the Angeles National Forest after the Station Fire of 2009.

This is a family friendly presentation which will be followed by an informal question and answer and discussion period. Refreshments will be served.
