Curbside Pickup Service

In accordance with the revised Stay Well at Home Order for Ventura County, the Blanchard Community Library will reopen for limited service on Monday, May 18.

Curbside pickup of held items will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Curbside Pickup Procedure

  1. Place items on hold.
    • To request items for pickup, place a hold online at www.blanchardlibrary.org, or by calling (805) 525-3615 and selecting extension 101.
  2. Wait for notification, then call us when you plan to pick up.
    • You will receive email or phone notification when your hold is available for pickup. Please note that wait times for hold may be longer than usual. We apologize for the delay.
    • Once this notification has been received, patrons must call or text the library to initiate Curbside Service pickup.
    • Texts can be sent to the library’s text-only pickup number at (805) 220-7900.
    • Staff will then checkout and bag items.
  3. After calling, pick up your items at the curbside location.
    • Upon arrival at the library, patrons should call or text the library again with a description of their vehicle.
    • Text your NAME and VEHICLE DESCRIPTION to (805) 220-7900.
    • Or enter vehicle information at https://bit.ly/bclpickup
    • Staff will deliver the items directly to patrons.

At this time, returns are accepted only through the drop box in the library parking lot.
Staff will be unable to accept any returns directly from patrons.
